John Edward Northcutt, 55, of Jemison died Monday, Oct. 24, 2011. He was born on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 1956 in Florida, son of the late John Thomas Northcutt and Minnie Pearline Day Northcutt. He was a superintendent.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Northcutt; three daughters, Shannon Gould (Leslie), Shalaine McClure (Eric) and Hollie Robinson (Mike); son, Kevin Northcutt (Jodi); granddaughter, Katelyn Walker; grandson, Jaden Robinson; mother, Minnie Pearline Northcutt; brother, Clyde Northcutt (Sara); two sisters, Pauline Lovett and Betty Smith; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Friends were received from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011 at Victory Chapel Church. Services were held Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at 7 p.m. at Victory Chapel Church with officiating. Interment was held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011 in Thorsby Memory Gardens, Thorsby.
