The Spain Park High School girls’ basketball team fell to Shades Valley 57-38 in high school basketball action Nov. 10.

Jessica Freeman finished 10-of-12 shooting from the free-throw line and led the Jaguars with 10 points despite an 0-of-10 performance from the floor. Freeman also grabbed six rebounds.

Ashley Gaston and Whitney Gulledge added seven points each. Kathryn Boswell chipped in six points, three rebounds and one assist.

Jasmine Hollis, Jasmine Moore, Kelsie Williams and Victoria Baldwin finished with two points each. Hollis grabbed a game-high 18 rebounds. Moore finished with five rebounds. Takia Mickens grabbed one rebound.

BOYS

The Spain Park High School boys’ basketball team fell to Shades Valley 70-59 in high school basketball action Nov. 10.

Robby Prater led the Jaguars (0-2) with 17 points in the loss.

Eric Washington added 10 points.
