Vermon Earl Young, age 65, a resident of Shelby, died on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011 at Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana with Rev. Kenneth McDonald and Rev. William Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Shelby Garden of Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home.

Mr. Young is preceded in death by his father, Vermon “Doc” Young and a brother, Lester A. “Puggy” Young. He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Young; son, Nathan Earl Young; mother, Sarah Young; sister, Sue Murphree; brothers, Kenny Moore, William Moore and numerous other family and friends.
