Frank B. Smith Jr., age 85, a resident of Columbiana, died on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011 at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Rush officiating. Burial will follow at Williams Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 p.m. prior to the service. Mr. Smith was a veteran of WWII serving with the Navy. He was also at one time a Missionary to Mexico.

 

Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his wife, June Smith and parents, Frank B. Smith Sr. and Mildred Coomer Smith. He is survived by his children, Frieda Morgan, Tina Johnson and Frank B. Smith III; grandchildren, Johnathan Morgan, Jeffrey Morgan, Kerrie Edwards, Lisa Blackwelder (Bryant) and Angela Maughlin; great-grandchildren, Chad Ballard (Kim), Adam Ashley, Caleb Maughlin and Kasey Edwards; sister, Bettye Jo Murphree (Marvin); and numerous other family and friends.
