The Thompson High School girls’ basketball team defeated Vestavia Hills 53-44 in high school basketball action Nov. 15.

Kadeisha Stowes led the Warriors (3-2) with 14 points in the victory. Stowes added a team-high 10 rebounds and five blocks.

Katie Guiser and Rachel Lawley finished with six points each. Guiser pulled down five rebounds and Lawley grabbed four boards.

Sophie Cingoranelli and Kierra Petway chipped in five points each. Janese Richardson, Abby Kreuser and Victoria Taylor finished with four points each.

Kat Cingoranelli contributed three points. Hannah Oglesby finished with two points.
