The Spain Park High School girls’ basketball team fell to rival Hoover 70-41 in high school basketball action Nov. 17.

Kathryn Boswell led the Jaguars (1-2) with 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the floor, including 4-of-10 from beyond the arc. Boswell also grabbed five rebounds.

Whitney Gulledge finished with 10 points. Jessica Freeman added six points and two assists to go along with a team-high seven rebounds. Victoria Baldwin finished with six points and six boards.

Jasmine Hollis chipped in two points and five rebounds. Jasmine Moore grabbed four boards.

BOYS

The Spain Park High School boys’ basketball team fell to Hoover 27-25 following a buzzer-beating shot by the Bucs in high school basketball action Nov. 17.

Eric Washington led the Jaguars (1-3) with nine points in the loss.
