Jimmie Ray Harris, 70, of Montevallo passed away Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011. He is survived by numerous cousins. Jimmy was a member of Bethel Baptist Church since 1957 where he served on the board of trustees. He was past master of Central Lodge #70 F@AM; Past Patron of Montevallo Chapter #434 D.E.S. He was a member of Birmingham Metro York Rite; Birmingham Valley Scottish Rite; Zamora Shrine Temple; Knights of Mecca; Calera Lodge #445 and was an avid University of Alabama Football Fan. He was a lifelong Republican.

Funeral services will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, Friday, Nov. 25, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Stanley Dawson officiating. Visitation will be an hour before services at the church. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery. Rockco Funeral Home, Montevallo directing. Rockcofuneralhomes.com.
