The Chelsea High School girls’ basketball team edged McAdory 41-40 in high school basketball action Nov. 28.

Amanda Mock hit two free throws with 11 seconds left to seal the first win of the season for the Hornets, who improved to 1-3 overall.

Mock led Chelsea with 18 points in the victory. Mock also grabbed 15 rebounds to finish with a double-double.

Ashleigh Niven added 12 points. Perri Lambert finished with six points, seven rebounds and a team-high five steals.
