Betty Ann Brasher, age 88, of Calera passed away Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011 in Alabaster. She was preceded in death by her husband, Armon Brasher; sons, Charles and R.J. Brasher; and sister Mae Finley. Betty was survived by her sons, Terry Brasher (Sandy) and Richard Brasher (Wanda); daughters, Onzella Creel, Patricia Porter (Ronnie) and Frances Wells (Max); 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011 at Sixteenth Baptist Church in Calera from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011 at the church at 10:30 a.m. Interment followed at Leach Cemetery in Calera.
