Edward Jackson Poole Jr., (E.J.), age 76, of Alabaster passed away Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011. E.J. is survived by his daughter, Terry Blankenship (Randy); one son, Butch Poole; two sisters, Carolyn Poole and Marie Gardner (Buddy), all of Alabaster; four grandchildren, Ashley and Derek Blankenship of Alabaster and Salina and Melanie Poole of Germany; and a host of nieces and nephews, along with his beloved dog, Corky.

E.J. was laid to rest on Monday, Oct. 28, 2011 at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo. Arrangements were under the direction of Charter Funeral Home.
