The Thompson High School boys’ basketball team defeated Mountain Brook 36-33 in high school basketball action Nov. 29.

Demarcus Threatt led the Warriors (7-0) with 20 points, including three 3-pointers.

Jaylon Jones added nine points. Kenny Nabors grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds.

GIRLS

The Thompson High School girls’ basketball team fell to Mountain Brook 67-34 in high school basketball action Nov. 29.

Janese Richardson led the Warriors with 10 points.

Kat Cingoranelli added seven points and three rebounds. KaDeisha Stowes posted six points and six boards.

Hannah Oglesby and Abby Kreuser finished with four points each. Sophie Cingoranelli chipped in two points. Rachel Lawley finished with one point, three rebounds and two assists.
