The Thompson High School boys’ basketball team fell to Mountain Brook 63-58 in high school basketball action Dec. 9.

Demarcus Threatt led the Warriors with 17 points.

Caleb Johnson added 16 points. Kenny Nabors chipped in 14 points.

GIRLS

The Thompson High School girls’ basketball team fell to Mountain Brook 71-30 in high school basketball action Dec. 9.

Kadeisha Stowes led the Warriors with nine points in the loss. Stowes also grabbed a team-high six rebounds.

Hannah Oglesby and Rachel Lawley added six points each. Oglesby also finished with a team-high seven steals.

Abby Kreuser chipped in four points. Katie Guiser and Janese Richardson contributed two points each. Kierra Petway finished with one point.
