The Thompson High School boys’ basketball team defeated Tuscaloosa County 63-30 in high school basketball action Dec. 13.

Demarcus Threatt led the Warriors (8-4) with a game-high 16 points. Threatt, who finished with three 3-pointers, also dished out five assists.

Caleb Johnson added 11 points in the win.

GIRLS

The Thompson High School girls’ basketball team defeated Tuscaloosa County 49-40 in high school basketball action Dec. 13.

KaDeisha Stowes led the Warriors (8-6) with 18 points in the victory.

Stowes also grabbed a team-high nine rebounds and blocked two shots.

Rachel Lawley finished with seven points. Abby Kreuser added six points. Sophie Cingoranelli chipped in five points.

Katie Guiser finished with three points. Kat Cingoranelli, Victoria Taylor and Hannah Oglesby contributed two points each.
