The Cornerstone Christian School girls’ basketball team edged rival Coosa Valley Academy 44-43 in the Autauga Academy Christmas tournament championship game Dec. 17.

Savanna Upton led the Chargers (7-4) with 17 points in the victory.

Jana Kelbie Armstrong added 11 points.

Lauren Archer led Coosa Valley (6-4) with 18 points.

Kaylan Rich added 16 points.
