Thompson defeats Chelsea in quarterfinals

The Thompson High School boys’ basketball team defeated Chelsea 62-39 in the Shelby County tournament quarterfinals Dec. 17.

Demarcus Threatt led the Warriors with 14 points in the victory.

Caleb Johnson and Duke Thomas added 11 points each.

D.D. Washington led Chelsea with 16 points.

Jake Ganus added 12 points.
