Calera downs Bibb County in tournament opener

The Calera High School boys’ basketball team defeated Bibb County 85-48 in the opening game Dec. 27 of its Champion Sports Medicine Shootout.

Ronnie Clark led the Eagles (13-2) with a game-high 27 points in the victory.

Deondre Haynes added 22 points. Titus Adams chipped in 11 points in the win.
