The Spain Park High School girls’ basketball team defeated Columbia High School of Huntsville 47-44 in the Decatur River City Classic tournament Dec. 27.

Ashley Gaston led the Jaguars (9-7) with 16 points in the victory. Kathryn Boswell added 10 points in the win.

Spain Park will face Hartselle in the tournament semifinals Dec. 28 at 2 p.m.
