The Pelham High School wrestling team defeated Oneonta 60-24 in high school wrestling action Jan. 5.

Six Panthers won individual matches against Oneonta.

Chase Gospondareck of Pelham pinned Jacob Slone of Oneonta in 35 seconds in the 106-pound match. D.J. Chamberlin of Pelham pinned David Black of Oneonta in 2:33 in the 138-pound match.

Antonio Montalvo of Pelham pinned Logan Claburn of Oneonta in 2:52 in the 170-pound match. Tre Maynard of Pelham pinned Mason Monaghan of Oneonta in 1:06 in the 182-pound match.

Kenny Hoover of Pelham pinned Ty Smith of Oneonta in 1:08 in the 220-pound match. Seth Klosky of Pelham won his 195-pound match by forfeit.
