Shelby County falls to Talladega in area contest

The Shelby County High School boys’ basketball team fell to Talladega 74-61 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 5A, Area 7 contest Jan. 6.
Tyler Madison led the Wildcats (6-14 overall, 0-4 in Class 5A, Area 7) with 22 points.
Brandon McKinney and Justis Martin added 16 points each.
