The Thompson High School boys’ basketball team fell to Hoover 71-68 in overtime in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 10 contest Jan. 10.

Demarcus Threatt led the Warriors (14-6 overall, 0-1 in Class 6A, Area 10) with a game-high 29 points.

Kenny Nabors added 18 points.

GIRLS

The Thompson High School girls’ basketball team fell to Hoover 52-27 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 10 contest Jan. 10.

Rachel Lawley led the Warriors (10-9 overall, 0-1 in Class 6A, Area 10) with nine points.
