The Thompson High School wrestling team defeated Spain Park 43-26 in high school wrestling action Jan. 12.

Eight Warriors won individual matches against Spain Park.

Austin Gould of Thompson won his 113-pound match by forfeit. Reed Jacks earned a 7-3 win over Tommy Bostany of Spain Park in the 120-pound match.

Mario Haynes of Thompson pinned Andres Galindo of Spain Park in 1:17 in the 126-pound match. Brewer Gilliland of Thompson pinned Connor Whatley of Spain Park in 1:49 in the 132-pound match.

Cody Albarado of Thompson pinned Leon Strong of Spain Park in 1:00 in the 138-pound match. Josh Gillaspie of Thompson won his 160-pound match by forfeit.

Cahmon Holder of Thompson earned a 14-6 major decision over Blake Daniel of Spain Park in the 170-pound match. Jesse Masters of Thompson pinned Alex Potts of Spain Park in 37 seconds in the 182-pound match.

Six Spain Park wrestlers won individual matches against Thompson.

Elijah Krukowski of Spain Park earned a 6-4 decision over Jacob Megois of Thompson in the 106-pound match. Marcus Jackson of Spain Park earned a 11-10 decision over Gavin Green of Thompson in the 145-pound match.

Dillon Osborne of Spain Park earned a 11-3 decision over Luke Moore of Thompson in the 152-pound match. Kameron Ricks of Spain Park won his 195-pound match by forfeit.

Mo Mills of Spain Park earned a 9-1 major decision over David Capers of Thompson in the 220-pound match.

The Warriors also defeated Oxford 46-15 in a match Jan. 12. Nine Thompson wrestlers won individual matches against Oxford.

Gould pinned Hayden Carpenter of Oxford in the 113-pound match. Jacks earned a 7-1 decision over Preslee Kelley in the 120-pound match.

Gilliland pinned Jacob Shake of Oxford in the 132-pound match. Christopher Lloyd of Thompson pinned Jared Shake of Oxford in the 145-pound match.

Moore earned a 7-3 decision over Rudolph Cimato of Oxford in the 152-pound match. Gillaspie pinned Tyler Graessle of Oxford in the 160-pound match.

Holder earned a 12-2 major decision over Connor McCall of Oxford in the 170-pound match. Masters won his 182-pound match by forfeit.

Capers won his 220-pound match by forfeit.

Whatley pinned Jacob Shake in 1:57 in the 132-pound match. Osborne earned a 5-4 decision over Cimato in the 152-pound match.

Daniel earned a 7-2 decision over McCall in the 170-pound match. Potts won his 182-pound match by forfeit.

Ricks earned a 2-1 decision over Brady Heard of Oxford in the 195-pound match. Mills won his 220-pound match by forfeit. Zachary Williams of Spain Park won his heavyweight match by forfeit.
