James David Walker, age 65, a resident of Shelby, died on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2011 at Antioch Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Rush and Rev. Joe Stone officiating. Burial will follow at Alabama National Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, 6-8 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church. Funeral is being directed by Bolton Funeral Home, Columbiana.

Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, Monica Walker; children, David Eric Walker, Amanda Ervin and Brandon Ervin (Katie); grandchildren, Ryan and Kalyn Ervin; sister, Phyllis Starnes; niece, Heather Harrelson (Brandon); great niece, Hannah Kate Harrelson; and other family and friends.
