The Vincent High School girls’ basketball team defeated Holy Family 60-43 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 2A, Area 10 contest Jan. 19.

Brooklyn Jones led the Yellow Jackets (7-12 overall, 5-1 in Class 2A, Area 10) with a game-high 28 points in the victory.

Pam Mann added 15 points in the win.

BOYS

The Vincent High School boys’ basketball team defeated Holy Family 76-62 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 2A, Area 10 contest Jan. 19.

Dontravious Moon led the Yellow Jackets (16-5 overall, 6-0 in Class 2A, Area 10) with a game-high 26 points in the victory. Moon, who knocked down 11-of-15 free throws in the win, also grabbed six rebounds.

Tyler Williams added 20 points, including four 3-pointers, in the win. Anterio Rogers posted a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds while also dishing out a team-high seven assists.
