The Chelsea High School boys’ basketball team defeated Vestavia Hills 46-42 in high school basketball action Jan. 21.

Jake Ganus led the Hornets (12-12) with a game-high 19 points in the victory.

D.D. Washington added 12 points and a team-high nine rebounds. Quentin Wilson chipped in 10 points in the win.

GIRLS

The Chelsea High School girls’ basketball team fell to Vestavia Hills 37-29 in high school basketball action Jan. 21.

Allie Luster led the Hornets (8-13) with a game-high 14 points.
