Jan. 9

-Illegal possession of prescription drugs and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from the 200 block of First Street South (highway, street). Confiscated were citalopram, a glass crack pipe, two plastic bags with crack cocaine residue, a metal push rod and copper wire mesh.

-Identity theft from the Internet (residence, home).

-Criminal mischief from the 900 block of Falling Star Lane (residence, home). Damaged was a dining room window in the amount of $300.

-Identity theft and theft of property from the 7800 block of Highway 17 (residence, home). Stolen were funds from a Compass Bank checking account in the amount of $139.

-Menacing from Colonial Drive at Colonial Way (highway, street).

uUnlawful possession of marijuana from Highway 31 at the Instructional Service Center (highway, street). Recovered were 5.8 grams of marijuana wrapped in a plastic bag.

-Damage to property from the 1700 block of Kent Dairy Road (highway, street). Damaged were a front grill and a radiator in the amount of $1,500.

 

Jan. 10

-Damage to property from 100 First St. S.W. (other, unknown). Damaged was a Heil tank trailer in the amount of $1,000 and a metal sign and pole in the amount of $500.

-Domestic violence investigation and domestic violence – harassment from Interstate 65 at the 235 mile marker (highway, street).

-Burglary and theft of property from the 1300 block of Hillwood Drive (residence, home). Stolen were a pair of gold earrings valued at $25 and a cedar chest valued at $10.

-Identity theft from 10745 Highway 119 South (bank).

-Criminal mischief and criminal trespass from the 7000 block of County Road 17 (field, woods). Damaged was fencing in the amount of $100.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of South Colonial Drive (department store). Stolen were seven University of Alabama T-shirts valued at $175.

-Information only from County Road 17 North of County Road 270. Damaged was a Dare license plate in the amount of $5.

-Burglary and theft of property from the 100 block of Wellington Manor Court (commercial). Stolen was a Toshiba laptop computer valued at $1,000 and damaged was a front glass door in the amount of $350.

-Domestic violence investigation and domestic violence – harassment from the 700 block of Fourth Place Southwest (residence, home).

-Theft of property from the 200 block of Colonial Promenade Parkway (specialty store). Recovered were a Black and Decker laser level valued at $24.97 and Kobalt titanium razor blades valued at $4.28.

-Domestic incident from the 500 block of Waterford Cove Circle (residence/home).

-Criminal mischief from Kerry Circle. Damaged were front and back door frames in the amount of $0.

-Property damage from Highway 304 and Hidden Lane (highway/street).

-Lost property from the 400 block of Meriweather Lane (other/unknown). Stolen was military ID/access card valued at $0.

-Theft I and criminal trespass II from the 800 block of 10th Street (other/unknown). Stolen were 1,500 feet of 2/5 Conductor track wire valued at $1,400, 300 feet of 5/14 conductor cable valued at $1,500 and 7/14 conductor cable valued at $2,000.

-Harassment from the 8400 block of U.S. 31 (restaurant).

-Incident from Flagstone Lane (other/unknown). Damaged was a Chloe handbag in the amount of $485.

-Theft II from the 100 block of Bonnieville Drive (residence/home). Stolen was a Remington 11-87 shotgun valued at $400.

-Theft III from the 100 block of Calera Eagle Drive (school/college). Stolen was a black Lenovo netbook valued at $400.

-Property damage from Stonecreek Place (residence/home). Damaged was a black mailbox in the amount of $500.

-Property damage from the 100 block of Calera Eagle Drive (school/college). Damaged was a gold Mazda 3IT four-door automobile passenger side door int he amount of $1.

-Prescription fraud – controlled substance from the 90 block of Marketplace Circle (supermarket).

 

Jan. 11

-Driving under the influence of alcohol and unlawful possession of controlled substance from the 10000 block of Alabama 25 (highway/street). Damaged were Fred’s Pharmacy prescription bottles containing two Hydrocodone tablets valued at $0 and Fred’s Pharmacy prescription bottle containing eight hydrocodone tablets valued at $0.

-Burglary III and theft II from the 200 block of Village Drive (residence/home). Stolen were Xbox 360 valued at $400, Xbox games valued at $735, Compaq 215 DX laptop valued at $400, miscellaneous credit cards valued at $0, Regions bank checks valued at $0 and Phylipps valued at $100. Damaged were door and door frame valued at $0.

-Theft III from Highview Drive (residence/home). Stolen was a gas grill valued at $150.

-Incident from the 8800 block of U.S. 31 (residence/home).

-Harassment and criminal trespass III from the 1500 block of Second Avenue (residence/home).

-Unlawful possession of controlled substance from the 100 block of Shelby County 95 (highway/street). Damaged were one Walmart prescription bottle containing Alprazolam 0.5 mg tablets, Alprazolam 1 mg tablets, Methylphenidate 10 mg tablets, Clonazepan 1 mg tablets, Endocet 10 mg tablets and Methadone 10 mg tablets valued at $0.

-Duty upon striking fixtures upon highway from the 700 block of Shelby County 87 (conv. store). Damaged was a mailbox in the amount of $150.

-Juvenile incident from the 100 block of Calera Eagle Drive (other/unknown).

-Court commitment order from the 10000 block of Alabama 25 (govt/public building).

-Theft (shoplifting) III from the 5100 block of U.S. 31 (dept store). Stolen were Ibuprofen valued at $10.98, bootcut jeans valued at $18.88, Mossy hoodie valued at $15, Jet Alert caffeine pills valued at $3.52 and Marilyn 2fer valued at $11.88.

-Theft II from Shelby County 84 (residence/home). Stolen was 14-foot utility trailer valued at $1,400.

-Domestic violence III from 22nd Avenue (residence/home).

-Theft III from the 10000 block of Alabama 25 (conv. store). Stolen were seven 18-packs of Budweiser beer valued at $102.55.

-Death investigation from Sunset Lane (residence/home).

-Theft II from Shelby County 84 (residence/home). Stolen was a 14-foot utility trailer valued at $1,400.

-Incident from the 600 block of Waterford Lane (residence/home).

-Property damage from Alabama 25 and Old Ivy (highway/street). Damaged was a Ford Escape four-door automobile in the amount of $1.

-Theft of lost property form the 5100 block of U.S. 31 (supermarket). Stolen was a set of keys valued at $0.

-Unlawful possession of prescription medication from Highway 261 and Third Street (highway, street). Recovered was a prescription pill bottle and hydrocodone pills.

-Damage to property from Highway 52 West at Hillsboro Parkway (highway, street). Damaged were a front passenger quarter panel, front passenger door, passenger side mirror, front fascia and hood in the amount of $3,500.

-Possession of burglars tools and theft of property from Industrial Park Drive (commercial). Damaged was a chain link fence in the amount of $100, stolen and recovered were copper welding cables valued at $600 and recovered were handheld tin snips valued at $10.

-Foreign felony arrest from Oak Mountain Lodge (hotel, motel).

-Theft of property from a business on Cahaba Valley Road (restaurant). Stolen were an Orchard Bank Visa card valued at $101, First Financial Bank Visa debit cards and an Alabama driver’s license.

 

Jan. 15

-Miscellaneous incident from 100 Sommersby Circle (residence, home). Stolen was $2,627 from a Regions bank account.

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from Interstate 65 at exit 242 (highway, street).

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 100 block of Mallard Pointe Drive (highway, street). Damaged was a vehicle dashboard radio casing in the amount of $100 and stolen were a CD player valued at $50 and a stereo CD remote control valued at $10.

-Driving under the influence and Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act from I-65 southbound at the 242 mile marker (highway, street).

 

Jan. 16

-Property damage from I-65 northbound near the 241 mile post (highway, street). Damaged was a windshield in the amount of $233.

-Burglary and theft of property from the 2500 block of Chandabrook Circle (residence, home). Stolen and recovered were $200 in U.S. currency, a 5-gallon glass carboy valued at $40, a rectangle box with dark wood exterior, a Canon digital camera valued at $700, a tripod for a digital camera valued at $10, a camera case valued at $30 and a Samsung Galaxy Nexus cell phone valued at $50.
