Hornets raise money for ACS in afternoon game

The Chelsea High School girls’ basketball team fell to McAdory 47-45 in an afternoon game Jan. 26 while raising money to support the school’s Relay for Life campaign.

The team sold bracelets during the game to raise money for the American Cancer Society and ended up with more than $1,200 to donate in support of cancer patients.

Allie Luster led Chelsea (9-13) with a game-high 19 points in the game.
