The Spain Park High School wrestling team dropped a match against Vestavia Hills 55-19 in high school wrestling action Jan. 26.

Four Jaguars won individual matches against Vestavia Hills.

Tommy Bostany of Spain Park earned a 8-2 decision over Will Hubert of Vestavia Hills in the 120-pound match. Connor Whatley of Spain Park pinned Josh Brown of Vestavia Hills in 3:59 in the 132-pound match.

Kameron Ricks of Spain Park earned a 16-8 major decision over Dalton Campbell of Vestavia Hills in the 195-pound match. Mo Mills of Spain Park pinned Jahaad Jackson of Vestavia Hills in 3:21 in the 220-pound match.

Ten Vestavia Hills wrestlers defeated their Spain Park opponents.

Josh Rogers of Vestavia Hills pinned Elijah Krukowski of Spain Park in 1:21 in the 106-pound match. Hayden Hill of Vestavia Hills pinned Jackson Cotney of Spain Park in 32 seconds in the 113-pound match.

Morgan Paugh of Vestavia Hills pinned Andres Galindo of Spain Park in 3:33 in the 126-pound match. Dylan Kabase of Vestavia Hills pinned Eric Russell of Spain Park in 52 seconds in the 138-pound match.

Will Knox of Vestavia Hills pinned Marcus Jackson of Spain Park in 4:24 in the 145-pound match. Jimmy Witt of Vestavia Hills earned a 10-1 major decision over Dillon Osborne of Spain Park in the 152-pound match.

Jack Nelson of Vestavia Hills earned a 13-6 decision over Kevin McClure of Spain Park in the 160-pound match. Kyle Meding of Vestavia Hills pinned Damon Hall of Spain Park in 42 seconds in the 170-pound match.

Zach Malone of Vestavia Hulls pinned Alex Potts of Spain Park in 49 seconds in the 182-pound match. Hunter Haynes of Vestavia Hulls pinned Zachary Williams of Spain Park in 3:00 in the heavyweight match.
