The Calera High School girls’ basketball team fell to Midfield 59-31 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 4A, Area 8 contest Jan. 27.

A’Kia Harris led the Eagles (10-10 overall, 4-2 in Class 4A, Area 8 ) with 11 points.

BOYS

The Calera High School boys’ basketball team fell to Midfield 70-62 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 4A, Area 8 contest Jan. 27.

Deondre Haynes led the Eagles (20-5 overall, 4-2 in Class 4A, Area 8 ) with 19 points.

Ronnie Clark added 13 points. Jeremy Hyde contributed 12 points.
