The Shelby County High School wrestling team defeated in its Wildcat Wrap-Up Invitational on Jan. 28.

The Wildcats defeated Chilton County and Russell County in the tournament.

Shelby County topped Chilton County 48-30. Noah Dorough, Aaron Stagner, Killian Berens, Austin Poe, Chase Weeks, Chris Upton, Luke Miller and Clint Davis each won matches against Chilton County.

The Wildcats defeated Russell County 48-24. Dorough, Stagner, Tyler Carter, Nick Horton, Poe, Weeks, Upton and Davis each won individual matches against Russell County.

Shelby County fell to Hewitt-Trussville 63-18. Weeks, Miller and Davis each won individual matches against Hewitt-Trussville.

The Wildcats fell to Fultondale 72-3. Weeks posted the Wildcats’ lone individual victory against Fultondale.
