The Evangel Christian School girls’ basketball team defeated New Life Christian 57-19 in high school basketball action Feb. 3.

Lacey Entrekin led the Lightning (14-1) with a game-high 21 points in the victory. Entrekin also grabbed eight rebounds in the win.

Rainey Ketcham added 14 points, eight rebounds and a team-high five assists. Bethany Letson scored eight points.

Mary Pass grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds in the win.

BOYS

The Evangel Christian School boys’ basketball team remained undefeated following a 67-31 win over New Life Christian in high school basketball action Feb. 3.

Adam Gurley led the Lightning (19-0) with a game-high 20 points in the victory.

DaJon Townson added 18 points in the win.
