The Thompson High School boys’ soccer team defeated Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa 10-0 in its season-opening match Feb. 13.

Jacob Ramsey led the Warriors (1-0) with six goals in the victory.

Jonathan Torres added two goals. Chris Underwood and Jacob Marasckin chipped in one goal each.

Marasckin, Torres and Dylan Williamson led Thompson with one assist each in the win.

GIRLS

Amber Harless led the Warriors (1-0) with three goals in the victory. Harless also finished with one assist.

Tatum Harless added two goals and five assists. Michaela Graber and Alyssa Mayer chipped in two goals each.

Mariah Poe contributed one goal. Kristin Gehring finished with one assist.

Kelsey Ferguson posted the shutout for the Warriors.
