The Thompson High School girls’ tennis team defeated Chilton County 9-0 in high school tennis action Feb. 16.

The Warriors won all six singles’ matches and all three doubles’ matches against Chilton County.

Laura Harwell of Thompson won her No. 1 singles’ match 10-6. Erin Hutter of Thompson won her No. 2 singles’ match 10-0.

Victoria Killingsworth of Thompson won her No. 3 singles’ match 10-0. Olivia Sorrell of Thompson won her No. 4 singles’ match 10-1.

Maria Siow of Thompson won her No. 5 singles’ match 10-0. Anna Conn of Thompson won her No. 6 singles’ match 10-0.

Hutter and Siow won their No. 1 doubles’ match 10-1. Harwell and Killingsworth won her No. 2 doubles’ match 10-1.

Sorrell and Conn won their No. 3 doubles’ match.

BOYS

The Thompson High School boys’ tennis team fell to Chilton County 8-1 in high school tennis action Feb. 16.

Tyler Shaw recorded the Warriors’ lone individual win with his 10-5 victory in the No. 1 singles’ match.

Cameron Faulkner of Thompson dropped his No. 2 singles’ match 10-2. Tony Pendleton of Thompson dropped his No. 3 singles’ match 10-3.

Jared Pendleton Cowsar of Thompson dropped his No. 4 singles’ match 10-8. James Langnes of Thompson dropped his No. 5 singles’ match 10-3.

Chris Thomas of Thompson dropped his No. 6 singles’ match 10-4.

Shaw and Faulkner dropped their No. 1 doubles’ match 10-7. Pendleton and Pendleton Cowsar dropped their No. 2 doubles’ match 10-8.

Langnes and Thompson dropped their No. 3 doubles’ match.
