The Evangel Christian School boys’ basketball team defeated Evangel Family Christian Academy 78-64 to cap an undefeated season with an Alabama Christian Sports Conference championship Feb. 18 at Samford University.

DaJon Townson led the Lightning (23-0) with a game-high 31 points in the conference championship game.

Adam Gurley added 23 points to go along with his team-high eight assists and six steals in the victory.

Aaron Walker contributed 10 points.
