The Pelham High School girls’ tennis team defeated Oak Mountain 7-2 in high school tennis action Feb. 22.

The Panthers won five of six singles’ matches and two of three doubles’ matches against Oak Mountain.

Sidney Garner of Pelham defeated Jessica Amaro of Oak Mountain 8-3 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Sarah Beth Dolinger of Pelham defeated Samantha Fredrick of Oak Mountain 8-5 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Katie Kema of Pelham defeated Mary Catherine Touliatos of Oak Mountain 8-2 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Brooke Cole of Pelham defeated Anna Manning of Oak Mountain 8-2 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Whitney Hamner of Pelham defeated Laurel Reeves of Oak Mountain 8-2 in the No. 5 singles’ match.

Cole and Dolinger defeated Manning and Touliatos 8-3 in the No. 2 doubles’ match. Elizabeth Hartzog and Hamner of Pelham defeated Reeves and Eun Young Jo of Oak Mountain 8-2 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.

Oak Mountain won one singles’ match and one doubles’ match against Pelham.

Jo defeated Harzog 8-5 in the No. 6 singles’ match. Amaro and Fredrick defeated Garner and Kema 8-3 in the No. 1 doubles’ match.
