The Spain Park High School girls’ soccer team defeated Briarwood Christian 5-1 in high school soccer action Feb. 21.

Simone Charley, Taylor Horton, Ireland Shea, Haven Eddy, Heaka Fugihashi and Elizabeth Schmidt scored one goal each for the Jaguars, who improved to 3-0 overall.

Charley also recorded an assist in the victory. Spain Park goalkeeper Schyler Arnold registered four saves.

Sara Smeltzer scored the lone goal for the Lions, who dropped to 1-1 overall. Catherine Cowen assisted on the goal.

Briarwood Christian goalkeeper Halley Hawkins finished with six saves.
