The Thompson High School boys’ tennis team defeated Chelsea 7-2 in high school tennis action Feb. 23.

The Warriors won five of six singles’ matches and all three doubles’ matches against Chelsea.

Tyler Shaw of Thompson defeated Sawyer Skipper of Chelsea 8-6 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Alex Gamble of Chelsea defeated Cameron Faulkner of Thompson 8-4 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Tony Pendleton of Thompson defeated Eric Nguyen of Chelsea 8-1 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Jared Pendleton-Cowsar of Thompson defeated Sam Moore of Chelsea 8-1 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Clayton Anthony of Thompson defeated Zac Haworth of Chelsea 8-2 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Darien Golden of Chelsea defeated Mike Thomas of Thompson 8-4 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Shaw and Faulkner defeated Skipper and Gamble 8-5 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Pendleton-Cowsar and Cowsar defeated Nguyen and Golden 8-0 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Anthony and James Langes of Thompson defeated Moore and Haworth 8-6 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
