The Vincent High School baseball team fell to Leeds 12-11 in high school baseball action Feb. 23.

Daniel Hawkins led the Yellow Jackets at the plate as he went 3-for-4 with a double. Hawkins drove in three runs and scored two runs.

Chase Howard finished 2-for-4 at the plate with two RBIs and a run scored. Jeremiah Gage went 2-for-4 and drove in one run. Michael Moncrief finished 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.

Kade Carroll didn’t allow a run or a hit with four strikeouts and four walks on the mound.

Dylan Brown allowed seven runs, including six earned runs, on three hits with five walks and a strikeout in 1 1/3 innings. Zac Baucom gave up five runs, including three earned runs, on five hits with four strikeouts and eight walks in three innings in relief.
