The Oak Mountain High School baseball team defeated Stanhope Elmore 12-1 in high school baseball action Feb. 25.

Richard Greene led the Eagles at the plate as he went 3-for-3 with a double. Greene also drove in one run and scored three runs in the victory.

Jay Thompson finished 2-for-4 at the plate, including a three-run homer in the sixth inning, and drove in four runs.

David Dahl and Sam Knotts each finished 2-for-4 with a stolen base. Will Skaggs went 1-for-4 with a triple and drove in two runs. Barrett Gossett finished 1-for-5 and drove in three runs.

Nick Bietighofer earned the win on the mound after giving up one run on three hits with two strikeouts in six innings.
