The Oak Mountain High School softball team defeated Hewitt-Trussville in high school softball action Feb. 27.

Kailey Boone led the Eagles at the plate as she went 2-for-4 with a double. Boone drove in two runs and scored one run.

Hannah Griffin finished 3-for-4 and scored two runs. Maddie Ridgeway went 2-for-3 and scored two runs.

Leah Reeve earned the win in the circle after giving up just one earned run on three hits with seven strikeouts and two walks in a complete-game victory.
