The Briarwood Christian School boys’ soccer team defeated Paul Bryant 5-0 in high school soccer action Feb. 28.

Kyle Kimel and Tyler Tilford led the Lions (3-1-2) with two goals each in the victory.

Conner Lee scored a goal and finished with two assists in the match.

Briarwood Christian goalkeeper Jordan Box recorded five saves in the shutout.

GIRLS

The Briarwood Christian School girls’ soccer team shut out Paul Bryant 10-0 in high school soccer action Feb. 28.

Sara Drew Mulvaney and Shelly Proctor led the Lions (4-1-1 overall) with two goal each in the victory.

Sara Smeltzer, Catherine Cowen, Madison Pearson Hannah Hutson, Catherine Smith and Morgan Jernigan added one goal each.

Smeltzer finished with three assists. Cowen added two assists, while Mulvaney had one assist.
