The eighth annual Brenda Ladun Conquer Cancer Run will continue as scheduled, rain or shine.

According to information on American Cancer Society Community Representative Mary Frances Colley’s answering service, registered participants will be contacted via email in the event of severe weather on the morning of March 3.

The run begins at 8 a.m. Saturday, March 3 at St. Vincent’s One Nineteen Health and Wellness off of Cahaba Valley Road in Hoover.

According to the online registration website, Active.com, pre-registration packets can be picked up Friday, March 2 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Trak Shak located on U.S. 280. Day-of registration will begin at 7 a.m. at St. Vincent’s One Nineteen on March 3.
