Indian Springs tops Westminster in tennis match

The Indian Springs School boys’ tennis team defeated Westminster School at Oak Mountain 6-3 in high school tennis action March 1.
Ben Goodman of Indian Springs defeated Mark McClure of Westminster 8-3 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Jacob Thigpen of Indian Springs defeated Will Robley of Westminster 8-2 in the No. 2 singles’ match.
John Canfield of Indian Springs defeated Scott McClure of Westminster 8-5 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Magd Habash of Indian Springs defeated David Hughes of Westminster 8-1 in the No. 6 singles’ match.
Thigpen and Canfield defeated Mark McClure and Scott McClure of Westminster 8-1 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Goodman and Dillard defeated Skelton and Richard Robey of Westminster 8-5 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.
Skelton defeated Jack Dillard of Indian Springs 8-2 in the No. 4 singles’ match. Robert Mann of Westminster defeated Guin lee of Indian Springs 9-8 (10-8) in the No. 5 singles’ match.
Hughes and Mann defeated Habash and Michael Lee of Indian Springs 6-5 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
