The Briarwood Christian School softball team defeated Sylacauga 6-0 in high school softball action March 1.

Savannah Kolb led the Lions at the plate as she went 2-for-4 with a homer. Kolb drove in three runs and scored one run.

Morgan Reed finished 2-for-4 at the plate with three stolen bases and two runs scored. Madison Chambers went 1-for-3 and drove in a run.

Reed earned the win after giving up just two hits while recording 18 strikeouts in a complete-game victory.
