The Thompson High School softball team shut out Northside 3-0 in high school softball action March 1.

Ashleigh Short led the Warriors at the plate as she went 3-for-3 with two doubles and scored a run.

Molly Jones finished 1-for-3 with a double and drove in a run. Rachel Rigney, who drove in one run and scored one run, went 1-for-3 at the plate.

Rigney earned the win in the circle after giving up just three hits with 12 strikeouts and two walks in a complete-game victory.
