“He was in the process of robbing two ladies in the parking lot, and a customer pulled up in an adjacent spot, a male victim, and he arm robbed him too,” Vick said.

Vick said Butler stole an undisclosed amount of cash and a GPS from his victims. Officers said Butler then left the parking lot on foot and went into the woods behind a business adjacent to Walmart. A Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department deputy and his K9 partner tracked Butler and arrested him in the woods, according to Vick.

Butler was charged with three counts of armed robbery. His bond is set at $30,000, which is $10,000 for each charge.
