Brenda Jean Erwin, age 61, of Sterrett passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. She was born in Alabama on March 5, 1951, the daughter to the late Alfred Alonzo and Betty Katherine McClanahan Erwin.

Brenda is survived by her brothers, Randy Erwin (Debbie), Michael Erwin (Betty) and Donald Erwin, all of Chelsea; sister, Kathy Horton (Ronnie) of Columbiana; brothers, Paul Erwin (Marsha) of Hueytown and William Erwin (Vicky) of Vance; sister, Bertha Messina (Tony) of California; and brother, Henry of Walker. Also, she is survived by other family members and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Union The Church at Chelsea Park with Pastor John Hill officiating. Arrangements were by Charter Funeral Home.
