Funeral service for Betty Joyce Connell, 72, will be Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Rev. Donnie Blackmon officiating. Burial will be in Grimes Chapel Cemetery in Sylacauga.

Mrs. Connell died Monday, March 26, 2012 at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Luther Connell of Stewartville; daughters, Anita Moore, husband Joey of Grey Court, S.C. and Angie Wallace, husband Jeff of Pelham; sister, Myrtle Oates of Stewartville; grandsons, Joseph Moore, Joshua Moore and Jackson Wallace; and great-granddaughter, Ella Moore.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 5-8 p.m.
