The Spain Park High School girls’ soccer team are winners of the last three state championships, but the team is still fueled by a fire that’s been burning since the Jaguars lost in a 2008 playoff game against Mountain Brook. The Spartans came back from a three-goal deficit at halftime to shock the Jaguars — who still haven’t forgotten the pain of that day.

The Spain Park girls’ soccer program has featured several Gatorade Players of the Year in Alabama, but that run isn’t ending anytime soon. The Jaguars are still producing elite talent — some of whom will be on the field this fall.
