Eagles edge Hoover in tennis match

The Oak Mountain High School boys’ tennis team defeated Hoover 5-4 in high school tennis action March 29.

Preston Touliatos of Oak Mountain defeated Christian Lyler of Hoover 8-3 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Kyle Ehlers of Oak Mountain defeated Hayden Clowers of Hoover 8-2 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Hunter Dodson of Oak Mountain fell to Avinash Anath of Hoover 8-5 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Kody Ehlers of Oak Mountain defeated Michael Maynard of Hoover 8-0 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

J.K. Keasler of Oak Mountain fell to Ishant Yadav of Hoover 8-1 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Brian Deason of Oak Mountain fell to John Charles Nicholas of Hoover 8-6 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Touliatos and Dodson defeated Lyerly and Clowers 9-8 (8-6) in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Kyle Ehlers and Kody Ehlers defeated Anath and Tripp White of Hoover 8-3 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Keasler and Deason fell to Maynard and Raj Patel of Hoover 8-6 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
