Wanda “MiMi” Rutherford Game, 70, of Pelham passed away March 16, 2012.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Frank Eugene Game; daughter, Phyllis Scott (Keith); daughter, Sheri Connelly (Sean); grandchildren, Lacey Scott Hearin (Tyler), Drew Scott, Joel Connelly, Tyler Connelly, Dylan Connelly and Mary Grace Connelly.

She is also survived by her brothers, Bobby Gene Rutherford (Lou), Kyle Rutherford and Donald “Buck” Rutherford, and one sister, Martha Howard (George) of Canton, Ga., as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Wanda loved playing cards with her friends, traveling, Auburn football and being a part of her square dance group, The Shelby Shufflers. She was a lifelong member of New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Until her retirement in 2005, she had her own business, Game Drapery. She was an extremely talented seamstress, and her beautiful work can be found all across Birmingham and in several states across the U.S.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius Eugene Rutherford and Mildred Lacey Rutherford, and a special aunt, Kate Winslett Lacey.

Funeral services were Monday, March 19, at 10 a.m. at New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 5521 Double Oak Lane, Birmingham, AL. Graveside services followed at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
